A tropical wave is expected to bring moderate to heavy rainfall and possible thunder throughout the State of Grenada today. Areas that will be most impacted are low lying areas as well as areas prone to landslides and falling rocks. Gusty winds are expected in the vicinity of heavy downpours. Impacts include slow traffic flow, poor visibility on highway and at sea, and gusty winds may cause objects to be displaced.

Secure loose objects. Motorists and pedestrians should exercise caution when traversing the roadways especially in areas prone to flooding and landslides. Small boat fishermen should not venture out. Fishing vessels should be secured at port. Monitor official weather updates from the Grenada Meteorological Service and NaDMA.
